Glass houses and ceilings Are no fun at all They place all these limits Don’t let you stand tall

The sky it is high And can see it right through But the glass makes you short Even though you see blue

The clouds and the birds Fly high up in the sky Must try to catch up But the owners are sly

The walls can be broken Just throw it a stone A punch or a kick But I might break a bone

Walls ceilings deceiving Must try to get out Cuts bruises don’t matter If I’m left with no doubt

I live to be free But the glass doesn’t fit It traps me enclosed There’s no light not one bit

So I’ll break down the walls Break the ceiling apart So I can jump out Till I get my fresh start
