We are told to hope and dream to keep our spirit alive. We are even told that if we dream hard enough, we might even make those dreams a reality. But a dream is merely a dream if we don’t put in the work to make it our reality.

We have this misconception that success happens overnight. The reality is that it takes many years to become an overnight success. Those that have achieved high levels of success didn’t try just one time, they tried many times. Some tried so many times and put in so much work and failed so many times that they were ready to give up and pursue another avenue, but, they kept going even when things seemed hopeless. Believe it or not, this where you will find your truest courage and find what you’re truly made of.

It is in the darkest shadows of darkness that you will have the clearest vision. It is in those moments of desperation and angst where your willingness to pursue your dreams will be tested.

How bad do you want it? How hard are you willing to work? How bad are you willing to feel? How angry are you willing to get? How hard will you push yourself when external forces around you are saying, there is no hope?

These are the questions you must ask yourself to know if your dream is truly meant to be your reality.

So some might ask, why does it have to be so hard? Why do we have to fail so many times? Why do we have to put in so much work? Why do we have to experience feelings of hopelessness? And why should we work the hardest when we feel like throwing in the towel?

There is nothing in this world that is all good or all bad. There is yin and Yang in everything and everyone. Our dreams are supposed to signify our truest form of happiness and life is all about balance. If we are to be blessed with our truest form of happiness, we need to experience our truest form of unhappiness.

Here’s the good news. Our truest form of unhappiness comes before our truest form of happiness which actually gives us something to look forward to.

In our darkest days we must remember that our brightest are yet to come. They haven’t arrived yet because we don’t have all the tools to live the life that comes with our dream. There is still learning to do.

Some who are walking their journey make the mistake of thinking that the most important part is the finish line. Those who have reached their finish line and are running their second race will tell you that the journey and how you got there is the most important part. Why?

The journey is where we fell. The journey is where we failed. The journey is where we learned and the journey is where we gained the knowledge needed to pass the tests that were put in front of us.

The journey makes us smarter and wiser. This is where we reflect on the decisions we made to ensure we don’t make the same mistakes again. Rest assured that when we fail, that same situation will most definitely present itself yet again, and it is up to us to pass the test.

In the most hopeless of times is when the biggest successes were born. Those moments of failure is what builds the heart and mind of the warrior. Warriors get up and they keep fighting for what they want and what they believe in. No matter how small the odds are, they stand their ground and do not give up until they get what they’re fighting for. Giving up is not in their vocabulary.

You must be bold and stand strong in the presence of adversity. If you want something, want it with every cell in your being. Do not back down. Stand your ground until what is meant for you is yours.

Sending you all some LEL Warrior Love ♥️

Keep your warrior spirit alive. Don't quit. Don't stop. Keep going until what's meant for you is yours ♥️💫🫶
