THE INDEPENDENT WOMAN

The independent woman has many hats that she must wear and relies on no one except herself to overcome the obstacles that are thrown her way. But the independent woman still has her desires. She puts on the facade that she does not need anyone. She puts on the facade that she is resilient to any and all negative things that come her way.

In reality, the independent woman is no different than anybody else. Although she can make it on her own, she doesn't want to. Although she smiles, sometimes those smiles are forced so she doesn't get questioned about the things she may not necessarily want to focus on.

You see, the independent woman became independent by being broken and putting herself back together again. She has fought battles and wars. She has cried and put in her blood, sweat and tears so she can come out on the other side stronger and wiser than ever.

The independent woman has one objective, to succeed. No one will stop her. No one or nothing will stand in her way. Every single day is a gift. We choose what we make of it. Today, she chooses to smile and be grateful for the life that she has been given.
