To live is to empower
To empower is to love
This is the real message
From the sky up above
In December it was fine
In January it was weird
In February and March
They were both filled with fear
Right now it is April
In the year twenty twenty
Can't believe what I wrote
Cause they came true a plenty
It did not look so much
Like the picture I painted
But the world is shut down
And all our laughter is tainted
Our minds are consumed
With the media's deliverance
Of bad news not good news
Puts up walls of intolerance
We are divided by borders
And our fear of the other
So much so that we think
We are plagued by our brothers
So how do we fix
This big world that is scared?
We must fight altogether
Break down walls everywhere
We must all be mindful
The disease is for certain
There's proof and statistics
That it's true it's been proven
In times of necessity
We must think of new ways
To make our world turn
So we can continue our days
The world will be changed
Entrepreneurs will be born
They'll be born of jobs lost
With their spirits all worn
Today is the day
To take charge of our lives
Take back what was stolen
And let the superheroes fly
So I'm calling you out
All of you A to Z
From the east to the west
So we can all make them see
You can plague us with sickness
You can mess with our wealth
You can steal all our freedoms
And you can steal all our health
But here is the truth
With this world that is messed
The superheroes will multiply
Social media is our test
Facebook and Tik Tok
And Triller Snapchat
Instagram and Youtube
is our choice for the blast
So bring out your swords
Let's use these for good
To fight this pandemic
So we're not misunderstood
The enemy called fear
Is at large and is running
But we are blessed with our minds
To create and start flying
So stand up and fight
With our words loud and clear
Do not fret do not frown
The world's superheroes are here
Who are these heroes?
Look around everywhere
They're your neighbour your friend
But the choice it is their's
Do you want to spread fear
Or spread love and not hate?
We're in stealth most of us
But the cure is to create
Superheroes are real
They exist everywhere
But we all must believe
That we can and we will
So look deep inside
And discover your gift
Make your superpower real
And believe that you're big
Big enough to stand tall
Big enough to make change
Big enough to help others
Big enough to change the game
