For a single woman, life is hard. She wakes up and it seems as though the entire world is on her shoulders. The worries flood to the forefront of herm ind. The worries of survival and beyond. How does a woman do it just as a me, myself and I when her dreams are blocked by her worries of today? She works hard in her matrix life but she knows it is not enough. She looks at her two babies and says, rockabye baby, everything is gonna be alright.
She aligns her career with her passion. To not, is meaningless. She is a woman deep like the centre of the ocean with stories untold that have brought her to her today. They knock her down, she gets back up. They came for her again, she got back up. She is a fighter. She will not stop until she reaches her destination. If she were to disclose her actions and stories to the world, she would be seen as different. She knows she is different, but she disguises herself as normal to blend in with the rest. She must do what she needs to do to survive. She wears her mask so no one questions her deepest darkest secrets. The woman behind the mask is now, unknown.
She is beat down, worn down, her pride broken. She gets back up anyway. She is a mother. When she looks in the eyes of her two precious angels, she knows no matter how bad she screws up, she created perfection. She gets lost in the abyss of confusion and fear but asks herself, why did she start in the first place?
A mother's will is one like no other. She will lift cars and move mountains to ensure that her children are given the life she planned to give them. On her journey, she falls but doesn't let them see. She ensures that their smiles are worn every day and hides her tears behind her mask because this is what a mother must do. This being that came for her had green eyes. She named it the green eyed monster. The green eyed monster destroyed her time with her children out of selfishness and greed. It derailed her motivation to keep going and spun her in circles until she fought and was able to stand once again.
The eyes of her two angels saved her. They heal her every day. When she walks with the world on her shoulders, she, in fact, carries three. Each of her children is a world on their own. She is responsible for making their worlds go round and for filling them with unicorns and rainbows even though her supply is scarce. She is not ok with mediocrity. Mediocrity is not the life she was meant to live. Her personality, big. Her dreams, big. Her mind, big. Her thoughts, big. Her curiosity, huge. She knows that curiosity killed the cat, but she doesn't care because a cat has nine lives. She will stop at nothing because she remembers the reason why she set out to walk the path she chose. Her children.
When you look at her from the outside in, she is cute and smiley and couldn't hurt a fly. Oh my how looks can be deceiving. Her exterior small, her interior, infinite. Her heart is big and was created to spread love, but the green eyed monster dimmed her light. It handicapped her ability to love.
She looks at her children once again and decides, the green eyed monster will not win with its glare. She is putting the pieces together. Yes, the scars are visible. But the glue she found is stronger than anything she has ever used. She is not whole. She is still broken, but piece by piece, she is putting herself back together again. It is a process. It will take time. But she is smart. She is determined. She chooses to be the winner in her life. After all, it is hers. Nobody else's. What is her motivation? Her two precious souls. Her two babies. Every night, when she puts them to sleep, she will continue to say, rockabye baby, everything will be alright. For she is a woman of her word and she will ensure that those words are backed by truth.
